The picture below shows our logo. It represents who we are and what we care about.
Gaia, the ancestral mother of life, stands for connecting to earth.
The word Gaia itself comes from Greek mythology. In ancient Greek, Gaia means "land" or "earth" 🌍. It was the name of the primal mother earth goddess.
Our logo is made out of three elements, firstly we have the two woman hands in the lower part representing the founders and all the women in cacao, then, above the hands, we have a cacao tree illustration representing the product, and lastly, the circle around, is for connection and unity.
It might be a little presumptuous to call our company after a Greek goddess, but we felt connected to the underlying message of protecting the earth, the cacao and the farmers.
